Hotel Rosario is committed to the conservation of our local communities and the environment in which we operate. Sustainability has always been a priority for us. Our dedication to reduce our environmental footprint is an important factor in our corporate decision making.
- We conserve energy through small steps such as making sure lights are turned off when rooms are not in use, as well as larger investments such as the 40 solar panels we imported from Brazil for our La Paz hotel. These solar panels are responsible for much of our energy needs and have reduced our need for other energy sources.
- Hotel Rosario Lago Titicaca was designed to be sustainable from the beginning. The hotel’s construction features thermally insulated floors and walls as well as double-paneled windows to save energy. This hotel is also powered by solar panels.
- At both properties, we participate in recycling programs, use biodegradable soaps and detergents, and avoid the unnecessary use of plastic bags, bottles and packaging.
- We are continually looking for programs to improve our environmental sustainability and encourage guests to take small steps to reduce their impact.
